Founded in 2023 by Fiona Spence, who previously ran the Australian design retail company Spence & Lydia, in collaboration with Wanda Jelmini, who worked for many years at Missoni Home as a textile designer. This collaboration combines design experience with a strong textile tradition.

It is a high-quality designer textile brand, not fast fashion, focusing mainly on bath textiles and home accessories such as cushions, throws and fabrics in high-quality materials produced by the best manufacturers. Themes such as “Territory” and ‘Illford’ are deeply rooted in the north-eastern landscape of Australia. The lines are artistic, with design roots in both nature and the art world. The theme “Waratah” and the more recent Bilpin are inspired by scorched tones and shifting light in the Australian bush, based on Luke Sciberra's painting ‘Rising Heat, Bilpin’.

The result is textiles that are not only functional but also aesthetically rich and meaningful. In the words of Fiona, they are ‘Designed to be lived with, layered, and loved, forging a contemporary Australian aesthetic’.
